๐Ÿ’ฐ How Your Compensation Works

Basic Salary: R16,000 per month. Guaranteed. You earn this regardless of your team's performance.

Performance Bonuses: On top of your basic salary, you earn a tiered bonus when at least 3 out of 5 Sales Representatives each sell 20 plans in a month (60 plans total across 3 reps). For every plan your team sells above that 60-plan baseline, you earn additional bonus. The more your team sells, the more you earn.

The 3 Out of 5 Rule

You earn your performance bonus in a month where at least 3 out of your 5 Sales Reps each sell 20 plans (60 total). If fewer than 3 reps hit the 20-plan benchmark, you earn R0 bonus that month (your R16,000 basic salary is always guaranteed). This proves you are managing accountability across your team effectively.

About This Role

Zibuke OnCall builds its national footprint one team at a time. To protect our culture of accountability, we hire the manager first โ€” and the manager walks the same path their reps will walk. Your Accountability Assessment is the 45-package journey: the same 45 active subscriptions your future Sales Representatives will be required to sell in their first 3 months. You do it first, so that when you coach them, you are coaching from hands-on experience, not theory.

Once you complete the 45-package Accountability Assessment, the master hires a team of 5 Sales Representatives for you, plus up to 1โ€“3 interns. Your primary job is to ensure your team's customer portfolios remain active and growing.

๐ŸŽฏ Your Role: Managing Accountability of Others

  • Coach accountability: Ride along with struggling Sales Reps to coach them on closing deals.
  • Ensure daily accountability: Make sure all 5 reps are actively prospecting and logging customer registrations daily.
  • Develop new team members: Train Newbies to pass their 45-package Accountability Assessment within their 3-month window.
  • Supervise interns (1โ€“3): Guide them to achieve their logbook workplace experience. Interns are not subjected to performance targets.
  • Enforce accountable practices: Ensure reps register serial numbers, check appliance ages, and only sign domestic-use customers.
  • Monitor outcomes: Track your team's results to ensure the team is demonstrating accountability collectively.

๐ŸŽฏ Who You Are

  • You understand the Accountability Assessment is the 45-package journey. You are ready to sell 45 active subscriptions over your first 3 months as a candidate, earning 8% Silver / 10% Gold / 12% Platinum commission. If you reach 33 by Month 3, you receive a one-month free extension. This demonstrates the same accountability your future Sales Representatives will be required to demonstrate.
  • You have prior experience in sales, customer service, leadership, coaching, or community work that will help you walk the 45-package path and then lead a team of 5 reps through it.
  • You are fluent in English and at least one other South African language.
  • You are based in South Africa and available for occasional in-person team meetups.
  • You embody accountability. You understand that your salary depends on your team's performance and you are ready to own that responsibility.

โš ๏ธ This role carries real accountability. Your R16,000 basic salary is guaranteed. Your bonus depends on your team's performance. Failing to get 3 out of 5 reps to sell 20 plans each (60 total) 3 times in a year results in demotion to a R7,500 Sales Rep role. You must be ready for this responsibility.
